We look forward to having you join us as we honor Dr. Lobsang Tenzin Negi, whose visionary leadership and dedicated service have left a profound and lasting impact on our communities. This special occasion will reflect on the meaningful contributions he has made over his distinguished career, and express our deep gratitude for all that he has accomplished.
ETSI has created a Kudoboard where you can publicly share a short message for Geshe le, like a favorite memory or well wishes.
There will also be an opportunity to write a private note to Geshe le at the monastery.

There will be a seated, one-hour program followed by a reception with refreshments and an opportunity to offer a khata (the traditional Tibetan white silk scarves).
Food and beverages are not permitted inside the Main Meditation Hall.
Please do not park on the grass along the monastery driveway or in the spaces along the building. If the monastery lot is full, overflow parking can be found via Skyland Dr at the John Lewis Elementary School. There is a paved walkway from the elementary school lot that leads through to the monastery.
Gift Information
In lieu of a retirement gift, if you would like to contribute to Geshe la’s retreat fund, you may do so using the Venmo app, or you may drop off cash or check (made out to Satya Dev Negi) at the reception. Scan the QR code or click on the image to be redirected to the Venmo page.
As he will be entering a strict, three-year-long spiritual retreat in India, these funds will be used to pay for necessary materials and to compensate retreat attendants who will support his spiritual practice.
These funds go directly to Geshe la and are not tax deductible.
